Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using AmiFlo (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AmiFlo ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

AmiFlo is an iOS habit-tracking and AI coaching application. The App provides:

• Daily habit check-ins with streak and XP tracking
• AI coaching from AmiFlo, powered by a third-party AI inference service
• Goal management across categories including Fitness, Study, Recovery, Mindfulness, Career, Reading, and Custom
• A leaderboard and XP league system powered by Supabase
• An Accountability Buddy feature for peer motivation
• Structured lesson content and daily tasks
• AmiFlo Pro subscription with expanded features

You must be at least 13 years of age to use AmiFlo. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users between 13 and 17 may use the App with parental consent.

AmiFlo does not require a traditional account with an email and password. Instead, the App generates a random device identifier (UUID) to identify your session. Your display name and goal are the only personally identifiable data stored on our servers.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the display name and information you provide
• All check-in history, notes, and AI conversations are stored locally on your device only
• You may delete your server-side data at any time by contacting contact@amiflo.com
• Signing out via Profile settings clears all local data from your device

AmiFlo Pro is available as a monthly ($7.99/month) or annual ($49.99/year) auto-renewing subscription, processed entirely through Apple's App Store (StoreKit 2).

• A 7-day free trial is available on the monthly plan where eligible
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
• We do not process, store, or have access to your payment information — all billing is handled by Apple
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy

Free users have access to a limited version of AmiFlo with the following restrictions:

• 1 active goal at a time
• 10 AI messages per day
• Unlimited lesson messages
• 200 XP daily cap

AmiFlo Pro removes these limitations and provides unlimited AI messages, unlimited lesson messages, up to 5 active goals, unlimited XP, and a 1.5× XP multiplier.

You agree not to use AmiFlo to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users through the Accountability Buddy feature
• Share contact information, phone numbers, or social media handles via the Buddy chat
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or circumvent the App's security or AI systems
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Submit false or misleading information about your habits or identity
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App or its servers

The AI coach AmiFlo is powered by Anthropic's Claude API, proxied via Cloudflare Workers. Your messages, check-in notes, goal information, and food photos are transmitted to Anthropic for AI processing. By using AmiFlo, you acknowledge that:

• AmiFlo's responses are AI-generated and not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice
• You should not share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial details, medical diagnoses) with AmiFlo
• AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
• Conversation history is stored locally on your device and is not reviewed by us
• Data transmitted to Anthropic is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy

The Accountability Buddy feature matches you with another AmiFlo user for mutual motivation. By using this feature:

• You consent to being matched with and messaging another user
• You agree not to share personal contact information in the chat
• A safety filter is active that blocks sharing of phone numbers, social media handles, and inappropriate content
• You may unmatch at any time from the Buddy screen
• We are not responsible for the conduct of other users in the Buddy feature

All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials within AmiFlo — including the AmiFlo mascot, UI design, lesson content, and branding — are the exclusive property of AmiFlo and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of AmiFlo without our express written permission.

AmiFlo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
• AI coaching results will meet your specific goals or expectations
• The App is suitable for any particular medical, psychological, or fitness purpose
• Data stored on your device will not be lost due to device failure or OS updates

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AmiFlo and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for AmiFlo Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if no payment was made.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AmiFlo, its team, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third party's rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to AmiFlo at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the App.

You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your server-side data, contact us at contact@amiflo.com. To clear local data, use "Sign Out" in Profile settings.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of AmiFlo after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
